Hello, my name is Melissa Martin! This is my family’s 15th year homeschooling. I have four children, the youngest two were homeschooled exclusively. My son who homeschooled through graduation is excelling and going into his junior year at CSU! My daughter is entering 9th grade and will attend co-op this semester. Before homeschooling, I was a high school biology teacher and instructional coach for the Muscogee County School District. I hold a Bachelors degree in Biology and a Masters degree in Education and have worked with many levels of the Georgia Education system in my professional career. I have many hobbies including art, embroidery, reading, kayaking, paddle boarding and yoga! My teaching philosophy honors the variation of learning styles and the expression of individuality.
I am Annie, a second generation homeschooler, on my 7th year of teaching my daughter and son. My passions are reading, writing , art and cooking!
Hey friends, I'm Chelsea! Collective coordinator and homeschooling mom of 4. I'm a dancer and dance teacher of 20+ years with 15+ years of business experience working with community organizations. As a second generation homeschool mom, I want to do what I can to offer support and encouragement to fellow homeschool moms as we all navigate this wild homeschool journey. It's a gift to have the opportunity to build community with you all!
Hi! I’m Ashley Leong, wife to my husband Casey and mom to my daughter Kenley (age 14) and son Casey (goes by Didi, age 12). We moved to the Columbus area in 2022 and are so thankful to have found this wonderful group of fellow homeschoolers to be a part of. Outside of my wife, mom, and teacher duties (which fills my heart) I love to read, garden, go on nature walks, & visit Disney World (total Disney nerd here). Another big part of my life is devoted to helping my son. He is autistic (and awesome!). I work hard to spread awareness and create inclusion, not just for my son, but for all those with disabilities.
